Research Excellence

In addition to delivering inter- and multi-disciplinary postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, we are delighted to announce that we have recently decided to establish a number of active research centres. The Centre for the Study of Islamic Diversity, Education and Ethics is the first centre of this new development. This Centre aims to produce empirical research about  Islam and Muslim communities, organisations and societies across the world, particularly within the countries of the ‘global south’ and their relationship with the North.  In this way we are  keen to develop new research centres to focus on the scientific and intellectual study of Islam and Muslims from various perspectives.
