Arabic Language Intensive Summer School

Beginning on 3rd July and 14th August 2017, the College is offering two new intensive summer courses in Arabic language – a complete Beginners’ course and a Post Beginners’ one.

The classes will run for four hours a day, Monday to Friday from 10 to midday and 1 pm to 3 pm.

Each four-week intensive course at two different levels (80 hours tuition over 20 days) will cost £80.

The courses are designed to give participants the opportunity to acquire foreign language and cultural skills in a professional context.

Those enrolled will be expected to spend 1-2 hours daily in self-study to strengthen and practise what they learned in class.

All our course teaching staff are highly qualified native speakers with great experience in teaching their own language as a foreign language.

The College Campus is situated in the heart of this friendliest of city’s university quarter.

Sitting on the River Tay estuary, Dundee is an interesting place to visit and its waterfront is in the midst of a £1 billion redevelopment whose centerpiece will be the V&A Museum of Design, an impressive new centre of 21st century design for Scotland and the world.

Dundee, Scotland’s sunniest city, a thriving cultural centre and also an ideal base for visits to the Highlands, the glens of Angus or historic St Andrews across the river in the Kingdom of Fife.

For out-of-town participants wishing to enrol, the College will be able to advise potential students on matters such as suitable accommodation.

  • The Complete Beginner I course is suitable for candidates who have no knowledge of Arabic. By the end of the course, the candidates will be able to introduce themselves and greet people while basic topics such as family, food and asking questions will be covered.
