Dr. Salah Alhammadi is a lecturer in Islamic Economics and Finance at Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education. He completed his PhD in Finance in the area of corporate governance in Islamic banking and finance at Henley Business School (University of Reading, UK) in 2016.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration major in Economics from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), USA, and BA degree in Business Administration from UTEP in 2000 as well as a BSc in Forensic Biology from New Mexico State University, USA, in 1993.

Salah worked as Doctoral researcher and Teaching Assistant at ICMA centre, Henley business school. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Department of Criminal Evidence, Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Kuwait to train students from Kuwait University on matters related to forensic investigation.  He acted as liaison officer between the undersecretary’s office at Kuwait MOI and other government departments as public affair manager. He worked at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Business College, as a Lead Instructor for college level coursework in fundamentals of investment, Economics, Financial Institutions, and business specializations. He also worked as the Director of Operations at Kuwait National Committee for Missing and POWs Affairs responsible for the coordination of missions and operations and meeting with coalition forces and foreign embassies to carry out and organize operations.
